As Vice President of Service at Tropic-Kool Mechanical Services (Tropic-Kool), Justin brings over two decades of experience in HVAC/Mechanical and facilities services. He leads the company’s Service Department and Sales Team, with a focus on delivering high-performance building solutions that reduce energy costs and extend equipment life.

Justin’s expertise includes account management for mission-critical facilities, preventive maintenance, lifecycle cost evaluations, turnkey system replacements, and disaster planning. Since joining Tropic-Kool, he has held a variety of roles, including Account Manager, Service & Special Projects Manager, Director of Service & Sales, before stepping into his current leadership position.

Prior to Tropic-Kool, Justin worked with Tudi Mechanical Systems and Tampa Bay Trane, gaining hands-on technical experience and managing key client relationships in the critical services sector. He holds an HVAC & Refrigeration degree from Erwin Technical College, is EPA Universal Certified, and is a two-time recipient of the Trane EBS Award (2018 & 2019).

Throughout his career, Dan has earned extensive credentials, including his AC Contractor’s License in both Florida and Texas. His leadership at Tropic-Kool has been instrumental in advancing the company’s capabilities, from managing their state-of-the-art, 25,000-square-foot facility, which includes an in-house ductwork and welding shop, to ensuring the availability of an extensive HVAC parts inventory to support the company’s dedicated service group.

Dan is an alum of Alfred State College, bringing both technical and strategic insight to Tropic-Kool, which has served the Tampa Bay area since 1978.
